Plakat: Weltwärts, Der Freiwilligendienst des Bundesministeriums für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung Young people seeking to undertake voluntary work in a developing country can now turn to the new "weltwärts" (worldwards) programme of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The programme is open to young people between the ages of 18 and 28 who have completed school or further education and want to spend between 6 months and 2 years working in a developing country in Africa, Asia, Latin America or Eastern Europe.
